I found this strange logo on the internet. ?+?+?::! which is a revolution. Someone at the Recommender Systems conference has produced a logo that can be emailed or even twittered. So if you see this set of characters: ?+?+?::! then your looking at something to do with this: ACM Recommender Systems.
The latest news is that the ACM will be meeting in Barcelona on September 19-22, 2010.
The ACM Recommender Systems with boast names like Strands and Telefonica I+D. They have chosen Barcelona, the most popular tourist destination in Europe since it combines a wealth of culture, architecture, and history with beautiful beaches and sunny weather (So they say). Barcelona also has a thriving start-up scene with many companies developing products based on or related to Recommender Systems.
